About

I'm small. I like to draw. Sometimes I get called Miss Bambi. A fawn trying not to accept adulthood by retreating to Neverland where flying's fun and the mind takes us on great adventures.
After completing my Degree in Fine Art (BA Hons) in 2011 art sadly took a backseat in my life for a number of years. During my University course I spent both day and night living a very free lifestle and was lucky enough to be able to focus much of my time on expressing my creativity. My mind explored the world through the artwork I produced, which often commented on sensuality, sexuality, gender and definitions or stereotypes.
After University however, like many of my peers, I was forced to find a way to fund life and I neglected to allow my creativity to continue to flow. Working shifts at a Psychiatric Unit two weeks after spending three years making art about kissing your friends can do that to you...
Now, working with children, I have a newfound desire to rekindle my love affair with my creativity, producing work that I feel reflects the enchanting perspective in which the children I work with explore the world around them. I have tried to strip my work of it's previous complications and intend to play with themes of beauty, acceptability and naivety; artless art.
